Christmas is just around the corner so it is time for us girls do what we do best and that is shopping everyone has had to tighten their purse strings this year so for some of us we may not be splurging on presents like we used, I am one of these people that can go way over the top at Christmas buying presents that I do not need to buy for people, I definitely get carried away with the whole Christmas spirit and see silly little novelties presents for the sake of it! So this year I am turning over a new leaf I have been compiling a list of everyone I am buying for and asking each person what they would like,  I would rather buy something they need or vouchers they can use than just buy utter crap that never gets used!!  I know I would rather have something I want!!

I also decided to make a list of cheap affordable things family and friends could buy me this Christmas! Even though I do like a surprise!!

My partner and I do tend to treat ourselves at Christmas we work so hard with not that many treats so we have decided we will buy each other 1 big present and then a few stocking fillers.  I already know what I will be buying the other half and that will be a Stone Island AW11 jacket of his choice!! I am looking to get a new designer handbag and I have fell in love with Marc Jacobs bags so here is my shortlist, I wish I could have all of them but that would be selfish.

Even though the sun is still out in october and today some places in the UK reached a whopping 29.9 degrees – we all know it has to come to an end at some point – We are in flipping October!! Two months time it will be Christmas – May favourite time of year

I am starting to look at potentially spreading the cost and buying a few christmas presents  every couple of weeks so then hopefully by christmas I would have done the majority of shopping!!

Online is definately the way to go  and what gave me inspiration whilst I was sat in the garden sipping my wine was the Next directory christmas edition – this is full for great ideas and some really lovely outfits for Christmas do’s and parties, there are many other online stores with a great selection of ladies clothing, I would recommend having a browse online at all the collections available as there are some absolutely beautiful dresses!!

Autumn/Winter collections are everywhere – I swear they are introducing these collections earlier and earlier. Anyway I am not moaning as this has got to be one of my favourite times of year – checking out the new trends on the high street and in designer boutiques!   Looks as though I am going to need a lot of money for already  I have found so many beautiful garments – I only won £6 on the euro millions last night and that will not stretch very far!!

I am in love with these patent court shoes from Next – £25 – I think they would be a great addition to a casual outfit with jeans.

Macs are still very much in this season and in Camel!! I love this one from H&M and only £29.99

Another pair of shoes that would look absolutely fab with this jacket same price as the jacket but so worth it – these are extremly versatile and can be dressed up or down

Finally I am limiting my top pick to 4 today as I could be here forever!!

RIP Amy Winehouse known for her beautiful voice and a gifted musician, what a shame the loss of such a young life with so much to live for.  Unfortunately drink and drugs took over and it has been now said to be a suspected drug over dose, my thoughts go out to her family and friends for their loss and she will be very much missed by everyone.

Amy was known for her individuality in style with her big 1960’s beehive hair style you can even find tutorials on You Tube on how to get the Winehouse beehive. Thick dark eye makeup with top liner, so many girls over the years tried to copy her style but they just did not pull it off like Amy. Truly one of the most talented young singers and style icon.

Sale time just makes we want to spend spend spend and as the weather has been so rubbish this week I thought I would cheer myself up by visiting the H&M website and seeing what bargains I could buy myself and I was so surprise at how little I had actually spent!! Take a look at some of the bits I purchased in the hope the sun will be out for the weekend!!

Pair of Denim Boot Cut jeans – these were not in the sale £29.99 – but wanted these to go with my new wedges!!

So in total I spent…….. £78.93 not bad as I have got three different outfits here and all can be mixed and matched together!! I had another look on the H&M website today and it looks as though stuff is going quickly so you better rush if you want to get some great fashion clothing!!!

So the sun has come out again but for how long?? What a beautiful day it was today, had friends and family over for a BBQ, I love entertaining and enjoying good food and drink in the sunshine. So Saturday I thought I would buy a few summer dresses, some that were lightweight, stylish and cheap. Checkout some of the dresses I purchased.  These dress are great with flat sandels and flip flops – pretty casual wear!!

Where is fashion going to take us this season? I have been looking through magazines and checking out what is online and what stores are now taking deliveries of their spring summer clothing, it looks as though it’s is full of fun and colour, some very girly looks but then on the other hand some very sophisticated evening wear. High wasted shorts for during the day with a pair of flat pumps as I see the classic denim look dresses are coming back in to trend this year. Another was is the crop top – I don’t think you would get me back into those tops, the last time I can remember wearing a crop top was when I was 10 many moons ago anyway for the girls that can get away with wearing that sort of top I will look at in oar, lots of flowey above the knee skirts, gorgeous floral dresses with waist belts the sort of dresses you can imagine roaming through the fields with a straw hat on and having a picnic on a nice how summers day.  Feminine check shirts with a nice casual pair of jeans or cut off’s. Jumpsuits in orange shades are still very much in this season, I have seem a really strapless jumpsuit, this would look great with a oversized summer hat and a high pair of heels  it would be a something different than wearing a dress to “Ladies day” this year.

The 80’s are back!!! Not only do we have crop tops but another trend that is becoming popular with the fashion conscious is the floral head scarf – tied the correct way and with the right outfit you can look bang on trend this season. Get it wrong and you could look like a cleaner. Definitely one to try and head scarf’s are so versatile and can add that finishing touch to a casual outfit.

I have noticed that black and white stripe is everywhere from tops, jumpers, skirts & ballerinas – This is a classic look and I have a lot of these tops already in my wardrobe which is handy – talking of stripe the nautical look is very much about Outfit option – pair of blue turn up shorts, blue and white stripe top and a cardigan with gold buttons with a pair of white pumps.
